To provide a structure for joining a support of a guard fence for a road and a beam pipe together, in which a bracket and the beam pipe are bolt-joined to a side surface of the support, and which makes each bolt joining operation performed by means of a nut held by a nut holding member inserted into the hollow portion of the bracket.

The bracket is a pipe material which comprises an outer peripheral surface and a side surface for being joined to the support 1; the outer peripheral surface is provided with a bolt hole 2b for joining a pipe; the side surface is provided with a bolt hole 2a for joining the support; a bolt hole 3a is provided in a position to agree with the bolt hole 2a of the bracket, near an end of the beam pipe; the nut holding members 4 and 5 are each equipped with an outer peripheral surface and a side surface for being joined to the support 1, and formed in such a shape that movement in each direction orthogonal to the pipe axis of the bracket is restricted; nut fitting portions for holding the nuts 6, 7 and 9 in a turning-stopped state are provided in positions to agree with the bolt holes 2a and 2b provided on the outer peripheral surface and side surface of the bracket, respectively; and the nut is held in the nut fitting portion.
