To provide a guard fence allowing a post to be firmly fixed when fixing the post onto a felloe guard section.

The guard fence P is mounted with horizontal rails 2 between posts 1 erected on the felloe guard section R of a road side edge. The post 1 includes a post body 3 mounted with the horizontal rail 2 and fixed by anchor bolts A to a base part 4 fixed to the felloe guard section R. The base part 4 is provided with through-holes 5 which anchor bolts A penetrate, on the front left side and front right side to be the road side, and the rear left side and rear right side respectively. The through-holes 5 on the front left side and front right side are arranged frontward from the lower end of the post body 3 and backward from the front end of the base part B, and the through-holes 5 on the rear left side and rear right side are arranged frontward from the center of a longitudinal dimension X at the lower end of the post body 3.
