Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence which avoids or reduces impulses of passengers or a vehicle at the collision and reduces the cutting hours of grooves of a buffer material and facilitates the fitting work of the buffer and maintenance work and further, increases a sight guidance effect and provides an excellent landscape.
SOLUTION: A guard fence is constituted of supports 1 and upper and lower wooden columnar buffer materials 2a, 2b used for a road, a bridge, etc. The support body 1a is constituted of a protruded leg 5 inserted in the fitting hole 4 of the side end 3 of a road and fixed therein, a semi-circular upper receive body 6 installed at the upper part of the support body 1a to fix the buffer materials 2a, 2b, and a semi-circular lower receive body 7 installed at the lower part of the support body 1a. A reinforcing bar 9 is inserted in the lateral groove 8 provided at the rear side of the upper buffer material 2a in the upper and lower buffer materials 2a, 2b. Fixing plates 10 at both sides are provided to fix the reinforcing bar in the upper buffer material 2a. The buffer material 2a is fixed to a buried nut 11 of the support body 1a by a fixing bolt 12a. In this way, the impulses on colliding are avoided or reduced.
