PURPOSE: To provide a shadow mask manufacturing guide belt having various characteristics such as the fuzz preventing characteristic of a belt cutting portion, the persistence preventing characteristic of processing liquid, chemical resistance against the various processing liquids, the strong adhesiveness of bonding portion with a shadow mask original plate, and long lifetime.

CONSTITUTION: A guide belt 2 is bonded to the starting side of a shadow mask original plate 1, and is used for pulling the original plate 1 in a shadow mask manufacturing process. A textile belt made of heat resistant and chemical resistant fiber such as para aromaticpolyamide fiber, or the like is impregnated by fluororesin dispersion and is burnt so as to form the guide belt 2.
