To provide a guide device for recovering a tunnel boring machine, which enables a boring machine body to be easily recovered in a stable state through the inside of a pipeline, even if a step is formed between an outside diameter of the boring machine body and an inside diameter of the pipeline, after a tunnel with a predetermined length is bored while the pipeline is formed.
The boring machine body A is advance for excavation in a state in which an inner shell body 2 of the boring machine body A with a diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the pipeline is extractably supported in the front drum of an outer shell body 1 connected to a front end of the pipeline. After the formation of the pipeline with a predetermined length, a pedestal 25 high enough to reach an inner peripheral surface of the pipeline is arranged on the lower peripheral section of a rear drum of an outer shell body 1, and a spacer member 5 high enough to reach a lower peripheral surface of the inner shell body 2 of the boring machine body A is arranged on the central section of the pedestal 25. After the diameter of a cutter head 4 is reduced, the boring machine body A is pulled, and recovered by rolling front and rear guide rollers 6a and 6b, mounted on the boring machine body A, on the pipeline from the pedestal 25, while the inner shell body 2 is slid on the spacer member 5.
