To correct the web bias of an H-steel by inclining upper or lower guide by a prescribed angle to the right side or the left side matching to the web bias of a web of the H-steel.
An H-steel 100 having a wet bias is corrected to a good product of the H-steel by inclining the upper and lower guides 55, 56 so that the deforming force to move the height position of a web to the intermediate position of both flanges is applied on the web 102. That is, rods 3a of both hydraulic cylinders 73 are projected, both side wedge plates 72 are pressed down and a clearance is provided between a holding plate 71 and the wedge plate 72. After then, a guide holder 12 assembled with the upper and lower guides 55, 56 together with a rest bar 13 as a base stand is inclined to the right side or left side matching to the web bias of the web 102 of the H-steel 100.
