PURPOSE: To feed a sheet while maintaining specific position and direction, by providing a rising guide extending in feeding direction of sheet and means for entirely shifting the sheet material to the direction of rising guide.

CONSTITUTION: A manual feed paper casset 10 has one end section A to be mounted in an opening made in the body of copier, where many ridges 1b are projected from the surface of cover 1 while a guide 1a is rising from one side. Here, said ridges 1b are extended in the direction to approach to the guide 1a when viewed in advancing direction of sheet. The manually fed sheet is guided by many ridges 1b and shifted automatically toward said guide 1a. Consequently, it is not required to place the sheet along the guide 1a resulting in facilitation of feeding while maintaining specific position and direction.
