To provide a guide member for a catheter which rapidly guides the catheter embedded into a body without depending upon a doctor's degree of skill and enables the doctor to regulate the bending position and bending angle of the member.

The guide member for the catheter which guides a catheter lead 5 formed with a locking section 8 and an electrode 7 at its front end and extended from its front end to its base end and regulates its bending position and bending angle is provided with a hollow guide member body 1 which consists of a flexible material and can be inserted near to the front end of the catheter lead 5, a bellows-like guide section 2 which is formed on one flank of the guide member body 1 and can be sealed therein with a physiological saline, a syringe 3 which can lead out the prescribed volume of the physiological saline in the guide section 2 and a regulating wire 4 which can be inserted into the desired position in the guide member body 1.
