Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail having a high strength and to which only a slight change of a distance between rail members occurs even when it is used in a wide temperature range.
SOLUTION: The guide rail has at least one rail member (2) provided with a guide pass (3) for a rolling element and is related to a guide rail (1) for a linear bearing. In this case, the rail member (2) is joined with a plastic body (4) or shares the boarders with the plastic body (4) and in that case, the plastic body forms a base element for the guide rail (1). To improve precision of the guide rail when it is used in an especially wide temperature range, the guide rail is formed that the rail member (2) is joined with a metal support rest (5), and the support rest is at least partially surrounded with a material of the plastic body (4).
