To provide a sheet shutter device in which a rail body forming a guide rail is displaced toward the inside of an opening from a support rail due to overloading on a shutter curtain thereof, wherein the device has an energizing means for energizing the support rail to the outside of the opening, the energizing means having a large energizing force imparted thereto.
The guide rails 4 are each formed of the support rail 8 fixed to each side edge of the opening; the rail main body 9 having an engaging piece 5 engageably fitted thereto and being supported in a manner displaceable to the inside of the opening from the support rail 8; and the energizing means for energizing the rail body 9 that is displaced to the inside of the opening due to overloading on the shutter curtain 1, to the outside. The energizing means is formed of long elastic bodies 12 arranged along an outer surface of the support rail 8, long receiving plates 13 abutted on outer surfaces of the respective elastic bodies 12, and long bolts 11 extending from the rail body 9 to the receiving plate 13 in a slipout preventive manner.
