Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3472362
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a guide rail capable of arranging a guide carriage having a guide region difference in shape, reliably displacing the guide carriage and capable of sufficiently distributing the generated force in a cross section.
CONSTITUTION: A guide rail for use in drilling, cutting and grinding tools has two first and second pairs of guide surfaces 1, 2, 3, 4 arranged opposite one another symmetrically on the right and left. Each pair of first and second guide surfaces 1, 2, 3, 4 are V-shaped and are laterally spaced apart and extend along the central axis of the guide rail. An additional pair of guide surfaces 7, 8 are arranged on both sides of another axis of symmetry S2 perpendicular to a first axis of symmetry S1 of two first and second pairs of guide surfaces 1, 2, 3, 4, and the guide surfaces 7, 8 are formed into a roof shape and are extended along the central axis of the guide rail.
