Abstract:
To provide a handsaw that can easily correspond to deterioration of sharpness in cutting and is not limited to a specific application such as tenon cutting or the like.SOLUTION: According to a handsaw, a base part 12A of a saw plate 12 is provided with a fixing hole or groove; cane 15 is wound and tightened around a tip portion of a wooden handle 11; a U-shaped fixing plate made of metal is inserted into an insertion groove of the wooden handle from a tip opening, and is fixed; both side wall faces of the fixing plate have an interval equal to the thickness of the saw plate base part; an insertion hole is provided at a facing portion of both side wall faces of the fixing plate; one side of the insertion hole is subjected to engraving of a female screw, or has a female screw member at a back side thereof, while a portion of the wooden handle corresponding to the other side of the insertion hole is provided with another insertion hole; the base part of the saw plate is inserted to the fixing plate; and a countersunk screw is inserted from the insertion hole of the wooden handle and the other side of the insertion hole of the fixing plate, and inserted into the hole or the groove of the saw plate base part to fix the saw plate base part onto the wooden handle by being engaged and fastened by the female screw or the female screw member on one side of the insertion hole of the fixing plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
