Title:
GUIDE SHAFT HOLDING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000149466
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To inexpensively obtain a sufficient holding power with respect to a thrust direction by providing the end face edge of a guide shaft of a pickup with a pressing member to generate a component of force heading toward radial direction positioning parts, the other end of the guide shaft and a chassis.

The guide spindle 2 of the optical pickup is fixed by radial direction positioning parts 4a and 4a of the chassis arranged point symmetrically with the central point of the spindle 2 and flat head screws 7 and 7. At this time, the centers of the flat head screws 7 and 7 are arranged within a range of an angle 45° from the axial center at the point on the side inner by the radius of the guide spindle 2 from the end face of the guide spindle 2. As a result, the slopes of the flat heat screws 7 and 7 press the edge of the guide spindle 2, thereby acting the force in the radial direction, chassis direction and thrust direction on the spindle 2 and fixing the guide spindle 2 to the radial direction positioning parts 4a and 4a, and the chassis 4 in pressurized contact therewith. Then, the mechanism is capable of withstanding the great external force in the thrust direction with a simple constitution without increasing parts.
