To provide a slide panel and a guide shoe which are capable of suppressing the generation of backlash and abnormal sound while maintaining the sliding resistance constant without being influenced by the forming accuracy or wear of guide rails and the guide shoe.

The structure of a guide shoe provided at the sliding part of a sliding roof represented by a sunroof of vehicle, is made up of a pair of leg parts 11 formed of elastic material so that the interval and dimensions can be changed, and a pair of adjusting members 12 to be inserted between a pair of the leg parts. Further, at least either one of the abutting surfaces of both the leg part and the adjusting member is tapered-inclined so that the side of the adjusting member, which faces a free end of the leg is wider, and the dimensions of a gap between the guide groove of a guide rail and the leg part is adapted to be changed in response to the amount of insertion of the adjusting member between the leg parts. Furthermore, saw teeth-like projections, the contours of which are supplementally engaged with each other, are formed on the abutting surfaces of the leg part and the adjusting member to allow only the movement in the direction in which the adjusting member enters between the leg parts, and thereby to prevent the increase in backlash due to the unexpected return of the adjusting member.
