Abstract:
To provide an improved guide system and an improved method for positioning an elongated strand in a liquid dispensing environment.
This guide system includes a guide mechanism for supporting and guiding the strand so as to be in alignment with a dispensing outlet of a liquid dispenser. The guide mechanism is adjustable along three orthogonal axes. A bead of a liquid material is dispensed from the dispensing outlet and fully or at least partially captured on the strand.
