A picture composition section 14 composites moving pictures successively simulating the route from the departure point to the destination point on the basis of the route retrieved by a route retrieval section 13 and picture information stored in a picture DB 124. A picture output section 15 outputs pictures composited by the picture composition section 14 to a user's portable terminal 3 via the Internet 60. The moving pictures successively show, in animation, the user departureing travel from the departure point, going through a ticket gate and a platform, etc., getting on a train, and getting to the destination point. The user can comprehend the route in the station yard when the user actually travels.
