To provide a tool with which the deterioration of the accuracy of press working caused by meandering is prevented by simply correcting the meandering of a workpiece when performing the press working of the workpiece.
This tool is a guide tool which is provided on the upstream side of a press die, adjacently to the press die and composed of a pedestal which is provided so that the surface is flush with the die of the press die and reference-side guides and anti-reference-side guides which are provided on the surface of the pedestal. The reference-side guides are composed of a plurality of bearings which are arranged on the straight line parallel to the approaching direction of the workpiece and the anti-reference-side guides are composed of a plurality of bearings which are arranged at desired fixed intervals to the reference-side guides so that the respective are movable in the direction perpendicular to the reference-side guides. The effective guide length from a bearing adjacent to the die to a bearing in the farthest position is taken as at least 1,000 mm in the reference-side guides.
