Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a key from partial striking for the promotion of its strength by shaping a key for a guide vane stem between a guide vane and a guide vane lever into a round pin constructed by the combination a pair of semi-round keys divided in a longitudinal length with a slant face. CONSTITUTION:In hydraulic machinery such as a water wheel or a pump water turbine provided with a spiral casing 1, a shaft 2, a runner 3, an upper cover 4, a guide vane 5, a guide vane lever 6, a top plate 7, an adjusting table 8, a stem 11, a guide link 12, a guide ring 13, and so on, a key to connect the guide lever 6 to the guide vane 5 provided with the stem 11 on both ends is constructed as a round key 10 composed of two keys with a semiround section divided in the longitudinal length by a slant face 14 to be set in several numbers between the guide vane lever 6 and the stem 11. In this construction, keys are prevented from partial striking, and since several round pins are loaded equally, they can promote their strengthes with each other.
