A guide wire 1 includes: a core shaft 2; an outer coil body 3 for covering the distal end portion of the core shaft 2; an inner coil body 300 positioned inside the outer coil body 3 and covering the distal end portion of the core shaft 2; and a distal-most end 5 for fixing the distal ends of the core shaft 2 and outer coil body 3 to the distal end of the inner coil body 300. The distal end of the inner coil body 300 is arranged so as to be positioned in the direction of the further distal end from the distal end of the outer coil body.
