Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce weight and loss of centrifugal force and energy during the operation, as well as lowering noise, in a guiding bow (a bow-shaped guiding member) which is used in an apparatus for twisting a wire filament or the like to form a string-shape.
CONSTITUTION: This guiding bow 1 for an elongated member in a twisting or winding apparatus is obtained, having a structure such that at least part of the length of the guiding bow 1 has a streamlined cross section, and that the core 5 of the guiding bow 1 is made of a load carrying material, with the sheath 7 made of a synthetic material.
