To provide a guiding device allowing a subject to easily guide the position of his/her own face in a position relatively distant from a device and, even if approaching to the device, allowing the subject to precisely guide the position of own both eyes.
This guiding device is provided with a distance measuring section 2 repeatedly measuring the distance to the subject 30 and a guide display section 50, as the subject 30 approaches to the device based on the distance to the subject 30 measured by the distance measuring section 2, changing over from a first display displaying an area at least including the eyes of the subject 30 to a second display displaying an area including at least the eyes of the subject 30 and being narrower than the first display and displaying it.
