Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ascent/descent guiding device for an automatic cleaning apparatus which can hold horizontally automatically the cleaning device even in the absence of a guide rail for an automatic wall surface cleaning apparatus on the outer wall surfaceof a building.
CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus suspended by two wire ropes 1, 1 to automatically clean the outer wall surface of a building, 2 slots extending left and right are provided in the upper surface of a machine housing 2 in the apparatus. Rope guides 4, 4 are slidably to the left and right supported respectively in the slots so that two wire ropes 1 passed through the respective rope guides 4 are connected to each other at the lower parts in the left and right directions after turning around sheaves 5, 5. A device 7 for driving reversibly to the left and right the wire ropes 6 in the left and right direction and a detector 8 for detecting the slide of the rope guides 4 are provided and a control device 10 for reversibly driving the drive device 7 according to a detecting signal 9 from the detector 8 is provided.
