Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make any runout of a cutting part in time of the chamfering of a cutting edge even in such a case of cutting by means of a machining center, and thus to perform a job for highly accurate reaming work, at the time of this reaming work a bearing part and a pat part are previously inserted into a reaming hole and the cutting part is guided later, and then the cutting edge is made so as to be chamfered in this reaming hole.
CONSTITUTION: A cutting part 14 is installed in the tip of a tool body 11 being rotated around an axis O, and a chip discharge groove 17 extending along the axial direction is formed in this cutting part 14. A cutting edge 18 is formed in a ridgeline part at the side of a tip circumference of a wall surface 17A facing the tool rotational direction of this chip discharge groove 17, while a bearing part 21 and a pat part 22 as a guide part guiding this cutting part 14 are formed on an outer boundary of the cutting part 14, and each tip of these bearing and pat parts 21 and 22 is situated at the more axial tip side than that of the cutting edge 18.
