To provide a gut clamping mechanism and a gut stringer that enable a position of a clamp part to be stably fixed through simple structure and that facilitate lock release of the positional fixation and high work efficiency.
The position adjusting part 32 of the gut clamping mechanism 30 is composed of a housing bottom 34B, a middle plate 50 and an upper plate 80 which are arranged across a spherical body 72 in a housing 34, a bolt 134 which penetrates through them, and a ring plate 144 which is attached to the lower end of the bolt 134 and which can engage with a rail rear side 14B. The middle plate 50 is formed with a plurality of grooves having different depths at both ends, in the circumferential direction around the bolt 134. Along these grooves, a spherical body 72 is moved to expand gaps between the housing bottom 34B, the middle plate 50 and the upper plate 80. Then, the bolt 134 is raised nearly vertically to perform position fixing by pressing the ring plate 144 to the rail rear side 14B. The positional fixation is released by depressing the cover 110 of a locking mechanism 120.
