Abstract:
To provide a gypsum board having a light weight, a low cost and preventing scattering of gypsum powder and having an excellent processability and handleability.
In the gypsum board 7 comprising a board body 3 made of a gypsum, and a board base sheet 8 bonded to at least one of a front side surface and a rear side surface of the body 3, a butt end surface 30 of the board is formed with a coating layer 1 for preventing scattering of gypsum powder. The body 3 may be obtained by laminating a plurality of layers. A total specific weight of the body 7 is preferably 0.9 to 1.5.
