Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plaster recovery system and a plaster recovery method capable of efficiently separating impurities from plaster without affecting the operating conditions of the desulfurization apparatus and to obtain high purity plaster.SOLUTION: The plaster recovery method according to the present invention comprises a plaster slurry discharging step of discharging plaster containing at least water and mercury as a plaster slurry outside a system of a desulfurization apparatus for desulfurizing exhaust gas with an absorption liquid, and a mercury removal step of eluting and separating mercury from the plaster in the plaster slurry at the outside of the system of the desulfurization apparatus, in which in the mercury removal step, it is adjusted by ORP raising-pH lowering means so that the oxidation reduction potential of the plaster slurry is higher than that immediately after the plaster slurry discharging step and/or the pH value of the plaster slurry is lower than that immediately after the plaster slurry discharging step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
