Abstract:
A gyro generator produced easily, having a simple structure and a high strength, and capable of generating stably at all time irrespective of the posture and direction of the float influenced by wave by ensuring the isotropy. A float (2) has a doughnut shape, and a control moment gyro (5) having at least one vertical gimbal axis (6) inside the inner tube portion (2A) of the float (2). A doughnut-shaped portion between inner and outer tubes (2A, 2B) of the float (2) bears the buoyant force and wave force to ensure the strength and rigidity. A generating device is compactly accommodated in the inner tube (2A). Since the generating device comprises a control moment gyro (5) having a vertical gimbal axis (6), it is unnecessary to control the fixation of the direction of the float (2) against the direction of the wave with a strict accuracy. As a result, the system can be significantly simplified, thereby enabling stable generation at all times.
