PURPOSE: To enable detection of stress as an angular speed signal with high resolving power by outputting the stress which a stress transducer having sensitivity with shearing stress in a circumferential direction receives from an axially symmetrical weight fixed coaxially with a pedestal as the angular speed signal.

CONSTITUTION: Doughnut-shaped piezoelectric elements 11 and 12 are fixed coaxially and axially symmetrically fixed to a pedestal 15 by means of a bolt 14 via a washer 13 on the top and bottom of an axially symmetrically manufactured weight 10. The bolt 14 is passed through a tube 16 in such a way that the above-mentioned constructing parts are lined up on the same axis. A lead wire 17 is connected to the weight 10 and the output between the same and the pedestal 15 is amplified with an amplifer 18 and is taken out through an integrator 19.
