Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a gyrotron power supply device having the capability of restraining the fluctuation of beam voltage and ensuring the stable operation of a gyrotron tube.
CONSTITUTION: A resistor 90 connected between the cathode 5 and collector 40 of a gyrotron tube 1 acts to cause current to flow according to a rise in beam voltage, and increase the grid voltage of a vacuum tube in a DC voltage generation device 61. Thus, the fluctuation of the beam voltage can be kept at low level, when beam current flows.
