1511296 Shoe soles FAMOLARE INC 4 July 1975 [27 Dec 1974] 28338/75 Heading A3B A shoe sole and heel of flexible plastics, &c. comprises solid side, end and bottom walls with a hollow centre 30 in which is a web of intersecting integral walls 34, the outer surfaces 12, 14, 16; 20, 22, 24 being convexly curved and separated by concave troughs 26, 28. Vertical posts 36, 38 reinforce the heel and toe areas, and transverse ribs 40, 42, 44 reinforce the walls 34. The ground-engaging surface 18 has an indented tread (52), Fig. 2 (not shown). The sole may be provided with a flexible material upper, or straps, &c.
