This hair brush has a brush part formed on one side of a brush base, hair-removal plates 4 having through holes 5 that can fit over brush pins 3 are fitted over the brush part, a hair-removal-guiding plate 6 having through holes 13 through which brush-base guide pins 7 can be passed are fitted over the opposite side of the brush pins 3, a recessed fitting piece is provided in the hair-removal plate 6, the hair-removal-guiding plate is provided with a projecting fitting piece, and the pieces are combined into a pair to form a box. The brush base can reciprocate inside the box within the range of the length of the brush pin, and when the hair-removal plate 4 is pushed up to the roots of the brush pins 3, a guide groove 2 is closed; when the hair-removal plate 2 is pushed down to the ends of the brush pins 3, the guide groove 12 is opened by the movement of the brush-base guide pins 7.
