To perform a proper curling regardless of an individual difference or a hair style or the like by a method wherein a hair brush is formed in such a manner that the curvature of a curve which is formed by the outer shape of a cross section in the longitudinal direction of a bristle base may be variable.
This hair brush 1 is formed of a cylindrical bristle base 2 which is detachably fitted in the part of an air outlet of a hair dryer 9, and wherein numerous bristles 20 are projected from many surfaces, and a pair of brush bases 3, 4 which are located at both ends in the axial direction of the bristle base 2. Then, on the bristle base 2, a plurality of cut grooves 22 which run in the axial direction are provided with equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and when the bristle base 2 is compressed in the axial direction due to an interval change for the pair of brush bases 3, 4, an intermediate part in the axial direction is warped in a manner to expand to the outside, and the intervals at the cut grooves 22 are extended, and the curvature for a curve being formed by the outer shape line is made variable. By this method, a curling wherein angles are not generated on hair can be performed.
