The hair care device includes a tactile mechanism for restricting turning of a grip housing relative to a body housing at a use position and a folded position. The tactile mechanism includes a first engagement body 10 provided at one member (body housing) and having first protrusions 12 protruded in a direction orthogonal to the turning axis, and a second engagement body provided at the other member (grip housing) in a manner to turn relative to the first engagement body 10, and having second protrusions configured to make press-contact with the first protrusions 12 to ride over each other. Portions 10K at which the first protrusions 12 of the first engagement body 10 are provided have a radial thickness t1 larger than the radial thickness t2 of the other portions 10N.
