Abstract:

To provide a hair care device that prevents excessive electrostatic charge on hair, and can sufficiently supply moisture to the hair.

The hair care device includes: a blower fan 6; a heater 5; an ion generator 7 for generating H+(H2O)m (m is any natural number) positive ions and O2-(H2O)n (n is any natural number) negative ions; an actuator 21 for selecting the operation of a permeation mode that promotes the permeation of the positive ions and negative ions generated in the ion generator 7 into the hair; and a controller 22 for driving the ion generator 7 and the blower fan 6 while controlling the heater 5 in such a way that a temperature of air blown out from an outlet 11 reaches a predetermined promotion temperature at which the permeation of moisture, associated with the positive ions and negative ions generated in the ion generator 7, into the hair is promoted.
