The hair care device includes: a reduced water generation part 3 for electrolyzing liquid with at least a pair of electrodes 2 to generate reduced water containing the reducing component; a liquid supply part 4 for supplying the liquid to the reduced water generation part 3; a detection part 21 for detecting the quantity of the liquid supplied to the reduced water generation part 3; an atomizer 1 for atomizing the reduced water generated by the reduced water generation part 3 to generate reduced water mist; and a control part 5 for controlling at least either of the liquid supply part 4 and the reduced water generation part 3 in accordance with the quantity of the liquid detected by the detection part 21 such that the quantity of the reduced component contained in the reduced water mist generated by the atomizer 1 become constant.
