The hair care device includes: a primary blowout port 13A provided near a hair treating part (a primary holding part 15) of a casing 1; a secondary blowout port 13B provided near the hair treating part (the primary holding part 15) of the casing 1 so as to have a blowout direction different from that of the primary blowout port 13A; and a blowing mechanism (including a fan unit 22 and a partition plate 9) which is disposed in the casing 1, sucks air from a suction port provided to the casing 1, blows out the air consisting mainly of a positive ion generated by an ion generator 21 through the primary blowout port 13A, and blows out the air consisting mainly of a negative ion generated by the ion generator 21 through the secondary blowout port 13B.
