The hair dryer 1 as the hair caring apparatus includes a heater 7, a fan 5f and the steam generating part 9 for storing a liquid inside and blowing out steam evaporated when heated. The steam generating part 9 is disposed separately from the heater 7, and air is fed to the steam generation part 9 by the fan 5f. The steam generating part 9 is disposed in such a state that hot air heated by the heater 7 can be received. As the steam generating part 9 is indirectly heated with hot air from the heater 7 in this way, the excessive heating of the steam generating part 9 can be avoided.
