To solve the problem that even if a two-piece type hair clip holds a bunch of hair for hours, incomplete closing of the ends of the clip fails to long holding of the hair in place due to coming off of the hair clip.
A hair clip 100 includes three members, i.e., an upper first clip member 200, a lower third clip member 400, a middle second clip member 300 therebetween, which are all pivotally connected by a hinge pin 600 provided with a first torsion spring 700 for urging the first clip member 200 and the second clip member 300 in their closing directions, and a second torsion spring 800 for urging the first clip member 200 and the third clip member 400 in their closing directions. When the first clip member 200 and the second clip member 300 hold a bunch of hair therebetween, this hair clip can prevent the hair from getting loose or off, since the first clip member 200 and the third clip member 400 are closed between the front ends.
