To provide a hair cosmetic composition having excellent hair- conditioning power, and capable of providing a finished feeling with a good feeling without stickiness.
This hair cosmetic composition contains (a) an amine oxide group-containing polymer having 10,000-500,000 weight average molecular weight, and (b) an amine (salt)-containing polymer having a constituent unit represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 is a hydrogen atom, a 1-22C alkyl group, a 6-22C aryl group, a -COOR3 group or a -COONH2 group; R2 is a -NH2 group of a -NH3+X1 group; R3 is a hydrogen group or a 1-4C alkyl group; X is an organic carbonyl ion, a halide ion, a hydroxide ion, a methyl sulfate ion or a sulfate ion), in the amounts regulated so that the ratio of the components (a)/(b) may be (1/10)-(100/1) (by weight), and the total content of the components (a) and (b) may be 0.1-10 wt.%.
