Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a hair cosmetic preventing excessive evaporation of water when blowing hot air on hair with a dryer, suppressing damage with a brush, providing hair with luster and a moist feeling, having dry touch, capable of retaining a set style.
CONSTITUTION: This hair cosmetic comprises (A) a betaine, preferably glycine betaine and (B) a film-forming resin in the ratio of 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-3wt.% of the component A and 0.01-20wt.%, preferably 0.5-5wt.% of the component B. The component B is not particularly limited so long as the component B is stuck to hair to form a coating film. An amphoteric polymer, an anionic polymer, a cationic polymer, a nonionic polymer and a water-soluble synthetic polymer can be used as the component B. An hydroxypropyl acrylate/ butylaminoethyl methacrylate/acrylic acid octyl amide copolymer, methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride alkyl half ester copolymer, etc., may be cited as the component B.
