To prepare a hair cosmetic, excellent in persistence of a perfume even after use by washing away, touch feeling such as slipperiness and smoothness, etc., of hair by combining a specific silicone elastomer particulate powder with a water-insoluble oil agent and a perfume.

This hair cosmetic comprises (A) a silicone elastomer particle powder, swellable with an oil agent, insoluble therein and having 1-100μm, especially preferably 0.5-10μm average particle diameter, (B) a water-insoluble oil agent absorbable in the ingredient A and (C) a perfume soluble in the ingredient B. The hair cosmetic is used by washing away in the same manner as that of a shampoo, a rinse, etc. Methylpolysiloxane having a cross-linked structure and its amino-modified methylpolysiloxane are preferred as the powder of the ingredient A. The amount of the blended ingredient A in the total composition is preferably 0.01-10wt.%, especially preferably 0.05-2wt.%. A silicone derivative or a volatile oil agent having ≤50,000cSt viscosity at 20°C is preferred as the ingredient B. The amount thereof blended is preferably 0.1-20wt.%, especially preferably 0.5-10wt.% on the total composition.
