Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair curler for forming novel hair waves by cold perming and a method for forming the hair waves by using the same.
SOLUTION: This hair curler is the hair curler 10 used for cold perming. The hair curler 10 includes a hair curling part 12 of, for example, a rectangular flat planar form having a flat planar part 12a. Turning and supporting parts 20 for manually or automatically freely turnably supporting the hair curling part 12 are disposed at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the hair curling part 12. These turning and supporting parts 20 have cylindrical parts 22. Plural detaining pawl pieces 24 are disposed apart spaced intervals in the circumferential direction of the peripheral end edges of the cylindrical parts 22. As a result, the detaining of proper holding members, such as rubber bands, having stretchability, to groove parts 26 between the detaining pawl pieces 24 is made possible. The method for forming the hair waves by cold perming includes a curling stage for curling the hair by using the hair curler 10.
