PURPOSE: To allow to have one's hair waved continuously by providing a hair curler body holding a pair of clasp bodies free to be rotated, connected and disconnected, and a heating means to one of the clasp bodies at least.

CONSTITUTION: A hair curler ia composed of a hair of clasp parts A, B, and each of the clasp parts A, B is mounted a clasp body 1, 2 inside a cover body 3, 4 and the clasp body 1 has a heater 5 in it. When water is poured into a water tank 7, water is drawn to a felt 8 by the capillary phenomenon, and when the heater 5 is heated, water in the felt 8 is evaporated and steam is emitted. The clasp parts A, B are closed, hair 30 is interposed between the clasp bodies 1, 2 and a curler body 100 is moved slowly to the end side of hair 30. Thus, the clasp bodies 1, 2 rotate freely by friction moving to the end side of hair 30 while blowing steam from steam holes 1a. As a result, a beautiful continuous waved hair can be obtained regardless of the length of hair 30.
