To provide a hair cutter capable of reducing the amount of hair without allowing the hair to be partially shortened only by being moved like a comb in the tips of the hair, and finishing the tips of the hair to have natural nonuniformity without having the fixed length.

The hair cutter includes: a cutter body 1; a blade block 5; and a thinning means having a projecting line part 12 as a thinning blade, which covers the edge of the blade block and also has a plurality of openings 13 for introducing the partial hair. The hair is held between the respective blades of the blade block and the held hair is thinned. The hair cutter also includes a comb member 6 in which a plurality of comb pieces 15 extending in a blade block projecting direction are included in a block part 7 and arranged at both the sides of the projecting line part 12 in a blade block cut direction, the proximal ends 15a of the comb pieces are positioned to be lower than the edge of the blade block, and the ends 15b of the comb pieces project from the edge of the blade block 5.
