Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dryer for drying hair using an infrared ray, capable of reducing ventilation resistance while suppressing reduction in reflection efficiency.SOLUTION: A hair dryer comprises in a dry air passage 5: a blowing fan 9; a motor 10; a heat source 11; and a reflector 12. The reflector 12 has a reflection part 20 which is provided so as to surround the periphery of the heat source 11 and reflects an infrared ray radiated from the heat source 11 to an outlet 4 side. The reflection part 20 has at least one ventilation slit 22 through which dry air is made to pass from an upstream side to a downstream side of the dry air passage 5. Accordingly, even when the reflector 12 is increased in size for the purpose of improving the reflection efficiency, the dry air can pass through the ventilation slit 22 to the downstream side of the reflector 12, thereby enabling reduction in ventilation resistance while suppressing reduction in the reflection efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
