Title:
HAIR DRIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3970987
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid trouble that may arise if fan output or heater output becomes abruptly great with a switch operation at the start of use of a hair drier.
SOLUTION: This hair drier has an operational-mode-changing main switch 6 provided in a main body case 1 (1a) in which are enclosed a heater and a fan which are designed to be capable of changing their outputs in plural steps, and is switched in steps by the switch 6, so that it can be operated selectively in either of numerous preset operational modes. In that case, the hair drier is provided with a lock means which locks the main switch 6 to keep it from being operated toward the increased output side, at an operational-mode position just before the number of rotation of the fan increases one step, or at an operational mode position just before the amount of heat of the heater increases one step.
