To provide a hair dryer which has simplified blowing port structure of a body case including a blowing nozzle, consequently enables the number of components of the hair dryer to be reduced, and which enables the attitude of the blowing nozzle to be freely changed in accordance with the difference in position of a set or dried hair, and is user-friendly.

In the body case 1, there are provided a blowing fan 3, a motor 4 for driving the blowing fan 3, and a heater unit 5. The body case 1 includes divided cases 30 and 31 divided laterally. A fixed ring 32 for preventing separation of the joined divided cases 30 and 31, is mounted on the blowing port 8 of the body case 1. The blowing nozzle 9 for converging or diffusing an airflow blown from the blowing port 8, is integrally formed at the fixed ring 32. The blowing nozzle 9 is formed of: a first blowing nozzle 41 integrally formed with the fixed ring 32; and a second blowing nozzle 42 attachably/detachably mounted on the outer face of the first blowing nozzle 41.
