Abstract:
To obtain an oxidation hair dye composition having excellent dyeability and fastness to shampooing.
This oxidation hair dye composition having the excellent dyeability and fastness to shampooing can be obtained by formulating a polypeptide having 200-30,000 average molecular weight, a chitin derivative or a chitosan derivative in an oxidation hair dye. A hydrolyzed collagen, a hydrolyzed keratin and hydrolyzed silk and carboxymethylchitin or hydroxyethylchitosan are more preferable. The amount thereof formulated is preferably 0.001-3 wt.%, more preferably 0.01-1 wt.%.
