The hair growth-suppressive skin preparation for external use is characterized by containing at least one plant extract selected from the group consisting of those from Isodon japonicus Hara( or Isodon trichocarpus Kubo ), Cucurbita e pepo Linne, Sophora flavescens Aitin, Filipendula ulmaria Maximowicz, F. ulmaria I., and Petrocelinum sativam HOFFM.
