Abstract:
To provide a hair iron which is convenient when forming curls of hair.SOLUTION: A hair iron 10 is provided with a pair of arms 12L, 12U. In the hair iron 10, at least one of the pair of arms 12 (for example, at least a lower arm 12L) is a heating plate 20 having an almost plate-like shape, and includes the heating plate 20 having a grip surface P for gripping the hair together with the other arm (for example, an upper arm 12U) and a rounded edge part E for curling the hair. In bending the hair with the edge part E, the hair plate 20 in the hair iron 10 is configured so that the hair can be bent by being wrapped at least partially to the opposite side of the grip surface P of the heating plate 20 while heating the hair on the surface of the edge part E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
